Brian Heineberg founded the practice in February 1997 after eighteen years' private-practice experience as a professional quantity surveyor.
Twenty-eight years on, the firm has grown from a single practitioner to a staff complement of seventeen — but the operating principle hasn't shifted. Senior people on every project. Hands on the numbers. No layers between the client and the team running the cost.
We are a fully paid-up member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors, the South African Property Owners Association, and the Green Building Council of South Africa. The majority of our quantity surveying staff are Greenstar SA accredited professionals.
The principals are personally engaged across the portfolio. You will not be passed down the line to junior staff once the contract is signed — and you will know who is accountable for your cost from day one.

Our practice has handled some of the largest, fastest and most difficult projects in the country. To do that, we keep a constant, tight control of the budget — at all times — while balancing the practical and aesthetic needs of the client and designer.
